I am a psychologist with a deep interest in hormonal health and the negative consequences that imbalances can have on our mental and emotional well-being.

I started my professional journey by moving from Romania to the UK to study sociology, driven by my interest in cultures and how they shape world perspectives. As a sociologist, I volunteered in Peru with underprivileged young mothers. This experience helped me understand that how an individual perceives and internalises an experience is the primary factor in shaping its long-term impact.

Motivated by this realisation, I chose to pursue a career in psychology. During this degree, I focused especially on the negative effects of the contraceptive pill and its repercussions on sexual well-being, particularly in heterosexual couples.

I continued my training with a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, where I was mainly trained within a person-centred framework. Personally, I believe in a holistic, integrative approach that integrates science-based lifestyle practices—such as nutrition, sleep, and exercise—with a therapeutic exploration of lived experiences that shape our inner world. I believe each person should be approached with curiosity, openness, and without judgment, and I aim to create a safe space where you can speak freely about any topic you wish to explore.

Having been a therapy client myself, I understand that the simple act of exploring and sharing your personal experience with a therapist is the first step toward growth and personal well-being.
