Lucas Deleu is completing his Master's in Clinical Psychology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Before moving into psychology, he spent many years in Belgian public service and Defence, including several assignments in Africa and the Middle East. Living and working in demanding environments sparked his curiosity about how people adapt to change, cope with pressure and find their way through uncertainty.
With a background in both Clinical Psychology and Sociology, Lucas looks at psychological difficulties within the wider context of a person's relationships, social environment and life experience. He offers a calm, open and non-judgemental space where clients can speak freely about what is troubling them or where they feel stuck.
His approach is both problem- and strengths-based: alongside exploring the patterns that bring someone to therapy, he pays attention to their strengths, resources and what is already working. Together with clients, he works towards a clearer understanding of their experience and meaningful ways forward, including a sustainable balance between what life asks of them, what they want to achieve and what they need for themselves.
Lucas works in Dutch and English, and after more than a decade in Brussels also has a good working knowledge of French.

Ashley is a Clinical Psychologist practising in Garsfontein, Pretoria, South Africa and online.
She places a significant emphasis on the power of relationships – the ones we have with others and the ones we have with ourselves. She believes that the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives. Our relationships are powerful mirrors that can reflect and reveal the parts of ourselves we hide or avoid. In confronting these parts of ourselves, we are provided meaningful opportunities to understand ourselves better. She believes it is through this insight that change and growth is made possible. It is utilising this healing dynamic which makes therapy a profoundly transformative process.
